On Thursday, popular Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor took to her various social media platforms to unveil the much-anticipated trailer of her upcoming film “Blind.” The movie, directed by Shome Makhija and produced by the esteemed National Award-winning filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh, features Sonam in the role of a visually impaired woman. Scheduled to be available for streaming on JioCinema from July 7, the film promises an engaging and thrilling experience.

In the intriguing trailer, Sonam Kapoor portrays a character on a mission to apprehend a notorious serial killer who targets and murders women. Making a remarkable comeback as the chilling antagonist, Purab Kohli leaves a lasting impression. When asked whether her absence from Mumbai affected her prospects in the film industry, Sonam responded, “It hasn’t affected work at all. I made a conscious decision not to work during my pregnancy, which I believe was the best choice as it allowed me some valuable time off. Now, I am ready to dive back into my projects, including shooting for my upcoming films and various other engagements. ‘Blind’ is set to release next month, and it was filmed just before I became pregnant. So, there’s much to look forward to in the coming days.”
